YouTube will soon make video streaming even better. For this, YouTube is going to launch its first online store separately. A Street Journal report has claimed this on Friday.

According to the report, YouTube is in talks with many big entertainment companies for video streaming. YouTube may name its online store Channel Store. The report claimed that YouTube has been working for the last 18 months. But the company did not disclose it. However, YouTube hasn’t said anything officially yet.

This is the plan behind the online store

YouTube is planning to move its satellite TV users to a subscription-based video streaming service. After launching the YouTube online store, it will join the ranks of giants like Roku and Apple. Both these companies already have subscription video streaming services.

Walmart company can also be involved

A New York Times report this week claimed that Walmart is preparing to enter the world of video streaming services as well. Walmart has also talked to some media companies for this. However, the company has not disclosed anything concrete about this as well.

Partnership with a Canadian e-commerce company

YouTube signed a deal with Canadian e-commerce company Shopify in July. The company has also announced a partnership with Shopify. After partnering with Shopify, content creators will be able to sell their products on YouTube only. YouTube’s 2 billion users will benefit.
