Motorola is working on Edge 2022 smartphone. It looks like it is Dubai+, which could launch in Q3 of this year after the next big Edge 30 Ultra. There is no information about the final marketing name of Edge 2022. Trusted tipster Steve Hammerstoffer (aka OnLeaks) has teamed up with 91mobiles to share CAD renders of the Moto Edge 2022. The main features of the device have also been revealed from the leak.

The Moto Edge 2022 sports a front punch-hole display with slim bezels. The rear shell has a curved edge, the Motorola logo at the centre, the company’s branding on the bottom and an LED flash assisted triple camera unit. At the bottom of the Edge 2022 are the speaker grille, microphone, USB-C port and SIM slot. There is a volume rocker and power button on the right side of the Moto Edge 2022.

The Moto Edge 2022 measures 160.8 x 74.2 x 8.2mm and sports a polished 6.5-inch panel that offers FHD+ resolution. The screen also supports 144Hz refresh rate. The dimension chipset with model number MT6879 will power the Edge 2022. Earlier leaks had revealed that the SoC has 2 x 2.6GHz Cortex A78 cores, 6 x 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 cores and Mali G79 GPU.

Moto Edge 2022 will come with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB inbuilt storage. It will pack a 6,000mAh battery. However, there is no information available on the fast charging capabilities of the device. It will come with a 32-megapixel front camera and an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel (main) + 13-megapixel (ultraviolet) + 2-megapixel (depth) triple camera unit. The Moto Edge 2022 is also expected to come with support for stylus like the Motorola Edge 30 Pro. At present, there is no information about its price.
