Xiaomi has launched its 12S smartphone series. The most powerful device in this range is the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The most important thing is its rear camera, whose sensor size is 1 inch. It is said to be the largest camera sensor in many countries including India. It is touted as one of the most powerful smartphone cameras in the world. The company has partnered with Leica Optics for this camera. Also, the phone comes with features like Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, 120x zoom and 50W wireless charging.

Let’s talk about the room first. It has a large rear camera setup with a round shape, which houses three sensors. The primary camera is Sony IMX989 sensor, which measures 50.3MP. Along with this, two more sensors of 48MP have been given. The camera has 5X optical and 120x digital zoom. This is the first Android phone that can record in Dolby Vision HDR.

This new sensor named Sony IMX989 is capable of taking good photography of the smartphone. It is said to be similar to cameras like the Sony Cyber-shot series. Larger sensors with bigger pixels can mean more light in the photo, better-lit night time shots.

The phone has up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It packs a 4,860mAh battery, which supports 67W wired and 50W wireless charging. The phone also supports 10W reverse wireless charging.
Price of Xiaomi 12S Ultra
Xiaomi 12S Ultra is currently being brought to China. Its 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant costs CNY 5,999 (approximately Rs 70,800) and the 12GB/256GB variant costs CNY 6,499 (approximately Rs 76,700). The 12GB/512GB variant will be sold for CNY 6,999 (approximately Rs.82,600).
