Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed for a planned effort to make the state’s economy Rs 10 lakh crore. He said that there should be balanced development of various sectors for the expansion of the economy. Instructions were also given to take action by setting a time limit to achieve the set goals.
The Chief Minister was discussing the creation of a trillion dollar economy with senior officials in a meeting at his official residence on Wednesday. He said that according to the objective of the Prime Minister, expeditiously efforts should be made in this direction. The state of UP has emerged as an attractive destination for capital investment after the year 2017.
The Chief Minister said that important works have been done in various fields in the last five years. He said that Uttar Pradesh is second in the country in the ranking of ‘Ease of Doing Business’. Uttar Pradesh is the second largest economy of the country in terms of GSDP.
The Chief Minister said that many schemes including Skill Development Mission and One District One Production Scheme are being implemented to increase the income of the farmers. Quality education at all levels and strengthening of health infrastructure has yielded better results.
With a vast network of expressways and airports, the state’s infrastructure is steadily getting stronger. Their advantage will be in attracting investors and bringing in capital investment. Increase capital investment and create short-term and long-term plans for a $1 trillion economy.
