A horrific road accident took place on NH 27 on Tuesday near Mumtaz Nagar in Thana Kent. A private bus full of passengers overturned on the highway. Two people died in the accident and more than two dozen were seriously injured. According to the information received, the bus was going from Lucknow to Gorakhpur, when the accident happened. The police reached the spot and took the injured to the district hospital.
CM Yogi expressed grief over the death of two people
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the death of two people in a road accident in Ayodhya area. He expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased. The Chief Minister has immediately sent DM and SSP to the spot and has given instructions for relief and rescue work. Along with this, the Chief Minister has given instructions to provide proper treatment to the people injured in the accident.

Three people, including a bike rider, were injured in a car collision in the Kotwali area of Bikapur. The injured were referred from the district hospital to Lucknow. A young man died on his way to Lucknow late at night. In another road accident, six people were injured. The injured were admitted to the hospital.
