It is learned that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced that the central government has cut excise duty on petrol by Rs 8 and on diesel by Rs 6. You will be surprised to know that due to the reduction in this duty, the price of petrol will come down by Rs 9.5 and diesel by Rs 7.

Along with the reduction in the prices of petrol and diesel, the Modi government has also announced a subsidy of Rs 200 per gas cylinder. Lakhs of beneficiaries of the scheme will be directly benefited by this announcement.
