As per the details shared by an analyst, Apple is expecting a hike in prices for the Pro model in its upcoming iPhone 14 lineup.

In an investor report, a Wedbush analyst has said that the price of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max may increase by $100 (about Rs 8,000) over their previous generation models. According to Ives, the increase in prices can be attributed to increase in component cost and added functionality of the new lineup.

Daniel Ives, an analyst at Wedbush Securities, said in an investor report that more customers may opt for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max than the regular models.

This could be a boon for Apple as the iPhone 14 Pro model will cost $100 (approximately Rs.8,000) more than the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. To recall, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max were launched in India last year, priced at Rs. 1,19,900 and Rs. 1,29,900 was.

The Pro model is expected to get 6GB of RAM

Ives says that the iPhone 14 Pro model could have more storage than the previous generation model. An earlier report suggested that the Pro model could have 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM, while the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max are expected to get 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

The new A16 Bionic chip will be in the Pro model

Additionally, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are said to come with Apple’s new A16 Bionic chip. On the other hand, the regular model is expected to house the A15 Bionic chip that currently powers the iPhone 13 model.

iPhone 14 series can be launched on 7 September

According to people with knowledge of the matter, Apple aims to hold a launch event on September 7 to unveil the iPhone 14 line, where the company will present the latest version of its product, which generates more than half of its sales.

The report says that the company will launch new iPhones along with other products, including several new Macs, low-end and high-end iPads and three Apple Watch models.
