Shaakuntalam Movie Starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu Trailer is Out! Watch Now!

Allu Arjun's daughter Allu Arha is also shown in the Shaakuntalam trailer.

The trailer for the movie Shaakuntalam, which stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Dev Mohan, has finally been made public. In a key role, the trailer also shows Allu Arjun’s daughter, Allu Arha.

The trailer is directed by Gunasekhar, and it starts with birds carrying a baby. In the background, a voiceover says that the baby is Shakuntala (Samantha), who was born to Menaka and Vishwamithra and was left behind. The trailer shows that Shakuntala was born for a reason. The next scene shows king Dushyant (Dev Mohan), who falls in love with Shakuntala the first time he sees her in the forest.

The rest of the trailer shows how hard things were for Shakuntala after Rishi Durvasa’s curse, which made King Dushyant forget how much he loved Shakuntala. At the end of the trailer, Allu Arjun’s daughter, Allu Arha, played Shakuntala, and Dushyant’s son, Bharat, was introduced. In the scene, Bharat is riding on the back of a lion.

The mythological drama is based on Abhijnana Shakuntalam by Kalidasa. The story is about Shakuntala and King Dushyant of Mahabharat’s epic love story. The movie also stars Kabir Bedi, Prakash Raj, Sachin Khedekar, Jisshu Sengupta, Dr M Mohan Babu, Madhubala, Gautami, Aditi Balan and Ananya Nagalla in pivotal roles.

Shaakuntalam will be released in Telugu Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada on February 17, 2023. The movie was supposed to come out last year on November 4, but the makers put it off because it was chosen to be made into a 3D movie.

Samantha, on the other hand, has been keeping a low profile ever since she was told she had Myositis, an autoimmune disease. A few months ago, Samantha told everyone that she has a condition called “Myositis” that is caused by her own immune system. In her most recent social media post, the 35-year-old star broke her silence about her health. She posted a picture of herself sitting on a couch with an IV drip attached to her wrist on her Instagram account.

She wrote in the photo’s title, “The number of responses to the “Yashodha” trailer was huge. This love and connection I have with all of you gives me the strength to deal with the challenges that life seems to throw at me over and over again. A few months ago, I was told I had Myositis, which is an autoimmune disease. I had hoped to tell you about this after it had gone away. But it’s taking longer than I had hoped. I’m slowly starting to understand that we don’t always have to put on a brave face.”
