These flags and posters have been put up outside JNU and on the road near the main entrance. They have been established by Hindu Sena. Recently, there was violence between Left Student Union and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) in JNU on the day of Ram Navami. In which many students were injured. Posters and flags were hoisted outside JNU today after the violence.
The statement of Surjit Yadav, Vice President of Hindu Sena has also come to the fore in this regard. In which he has said that the protesters in JNU have insulted God. These people should improve, don’t try to adopt saffron. We respect you, respect every religion and idea. The way saffron is being insulted. Hindu army will not tolerate this.
On the incident, DCP of South West Delhi said that this morning it was learned that some flags and banners were hoisted on the streets in JNU and surrounding areas. In view of the recent developments, these were immediately removed and appropriate legal action is being taken.

Violence broke out in Ramnavami Kaveri hostel to stop the serving of non-vegetarian food. Left students alleged that members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad came to the hostel and stopped the mess staff from serving non-wages and attacked the students present there. At the same time, ABVP members alleged that Left students tried to stop the puja organized on the occasion of Ram Navami. The matter is being investigated by the police. Police say that an FIR has been registered by JNUSU, SFI and Democratic Students Federation against students affiliated to ABVP.
