Response From Tina Datta’s Mother to Sreejita De’s Labelling of Her Daughter a “Homebreaker” on Bigg Boss 16: The Question Was, “Kya Woh Proof De Payegi?”

In one episode, Sreejita De called Tina Datta a "homebreaker." Now, Tina's mother Madhumita has responded to what Sreejita said about her daughter and asked if the actor had any proof. She also said that Tina's father "needed a proof-based answer."

In a December 2022 episode of Bigg Boss 16, Sreejita De talked about Tina Datta. She told another contestant, Soundarya Sharma, that Tina was jealous of everyone and wanted male attention. Sreejita also said that Tina had tried to break up other people’s relationships because she was afraid of being alone. She had said that Tina was sad and alone. Now, Madhumita, Tina Datta’s mother, has responded to what Sreejita said about her daughter.

“I didn’t think the BB (Bigg Boss) house was the right place to ask Sreejita questions. I didn’t want to find out on the show what the answer was. I want her to come outside and tell me what she thinks. A lot of people have said on the show that Tina broke into a lot of homes. Toh use (Sreejita) kam se kam 4-5 ghar dikhana padega with proof (She would show at least 4-5 such homes).

If Tina has, in fact, broken homes, then no one should be surprised (the people whose homes Tina has allegedly broken, should also speak). Tina has already said that they are friends, but Sreejita says that they are not. You can only comment if you and the other person are good friends and share things.

What good would it have done for me to get mad at Sreejita on the show if I had told her she was doing something wrong? Kuch nahi milne wala (I would have gained nothing). Jo jawab usko dena hai vo bahar aake de (She would leave the house and explain what she meant). Tina’s father wants to know why. On that same day, her father told her that he needed an answer with proof,”Madhumita told India Today.

She went on to say, “If Tina has a problem, we have a problem, too. Vo bhi aisi baat ki jisme one percent sacchai nahi hain. How low can you go? (Sreejita lowered her standards when she tried to insult Tina. What she said is not true. When she leaves Bigg Boss 16, will she be able to prove it? Why would you say something if you couldn’t back it up? Then she said Tina ne ghar toda, isliye uska ghar nahi basa.

There are so many boys and girls who don’t want to get married these days. Unhe akele rehna hai. Does that mean that Tina hasn’t found a place to live and hasn’t stopped moving around? Has Sreejita found a partner yet? Uski shaadi hogayi kya? Kisko niche giraya usne? (Sreejita also said that Tina broke into other people’s homes, which is why she is still single. Since so many people want to be single these days, does that make Tina a homebreaker? Is Sreejita herself a married woman? She tried to pull another Bengali down.

In an earlier episode, Sreejita told Soundarya, “Oh God, I know Tina so well, baby. She has tried to break up a lot of other people’s relationships, so she hasn’t been able to find a partner for herself.” Sreejita had said, when talking more about Tina, “It is her fate, she is so lonely, teen saal pehle jab baat hoti thi humaari, it is so hard to find love, Sreejita.

We went on a trip, and that night I found out that she is a sadist. Now I can’t trust her with my life, and I don’t want to. Ladki se koi problem nahi hai, ladki se sari attention chaiye (I decided I won’t go anywhere with her in my life. She doesn’t have a problem with men, but she does want their attention). She is full of envy and bad feelings.”
