Priyanka Chopra Poses With Malti for a Magazine and Talks About the Problems She Had With Her Premature Birth: ‘She Was as Big as My Hand’

Priyanka Chopra has finally told some personal details about the birth of her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. The actor hasn’t even posted pictures of Malti’s face on social media. He talked about how she was born early, why she chose to have a surrogate, and other things.

Priyanka told British Vogue that her daughter was born three months too soon. “I was in the operating room (OR) when she came out. She was so small, smaller than my hand,” Priyanka said. “I saw what the nurses in the ICU do. They work for God. Nick and I were both there when they put the tube down her throat. I don’t know how they found what they needed to intubate her in her tiny body.” She also said, “I didn’t know if she would make it or not.”

She said that she had health problems that made it impossible for her to carry a child herself. She said, “I had some health problems, so this was a necessary step, and I’m so glad I was able to do it.” Our surrogate was so generous, kind, beautiful, and funny, and she took care of this precious gift for us for six months.

In 2018, Priyanka and Nick Jonas tied the knot. In January of last year, they told the world about the birth of their first child in a joint post on Instagram. Malti Marie’s name comes from both of their mothers’ middle names.

Priyanka will next be seen with Richard Madden in Russo Brothers’ Citadel and with Sam Heughan in Love Again. In the same interview, Priyanka also said that the Indian version of Citadel, which will be directed by Raj and DK and star Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, will show a lot of her back story. She is also in Jee Le Zaara, which also stars Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
