Prime Minister’s Museum: The Prime Minister’s Museum will be inaugurated on April 14, 2022. It will be inaugurated by PM Modi. It has been developed to bring awareness to all the Prime Ministers of India. The museum will provide information about the leadership, tenure and achievements of all the Prime Ministers.
Earlier it was called Nehru Museum Building. In the cabinet meeting chaired by PM Modi last month, it was decided to convert the Nehru Museum into the PM Museum. The memory of all the 14 former Prime Ministers of the country will be preserved in this museum.
During the cabinet meeting, PM Modi said that the government has taken this decision to acknowledge the contribution of former prime ministers. We all want to recognize the contribution of the PM. The Prime Minister’s Museum houses the works of all former Prime Ministers.
From the Indian freedom struggle to the drafting of the Constitution, this museum tells a story. Here is how our Prime Ministers toured the country despite all the challenges and worked for the progress of the country.
The design of the museum is inspired by the story of a changing India, shaped and shaped by its leaders. No trees were cut or transplanted to build the museum. The total area of the museum is 10,491 square meters.
Earlier this museum was to open on 25 December. This day is the birth anniversary of late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and is celebrated as Good Governance Day. After this, the next date was fixed on 26 January, but the inauguration could not take place on both these dates.
