In the new XE variant of the corona virus worldwide, the number of infected patients in India is increasing once again. Its effect is being seen on the schools reopening after being closed for two years. A total of 21 people, including three teachers, have been infected so far in three schools in Ghaziabad and Noida in Uttar Pradesh.

According to the information received, 5 students of two private schools in Ghaziabad have been confirmed to be infected with the corona virus. At the same time, 16 new cases of corona infection including three teachers have been reported from a school in Noida. Schools have announced the closure of schools for three days, followed by school holidays, as a precautionary measure to break the chain of virus infection, so schools will reopen from April 19. At the same time, Noida School will study online for a week.

With the end of the third wave of Corona, the state government has lifted most of the restrictions. Along with this, schools are also open. In such a situation, the news of the spread of corona among the students of the school has increased the concern of the children and parents.

Corona infected patients are being found every day across the country. These patients are recovering from treatment at home, but in the meantime, due to the opening of schools, there is a risk of spreading infection among children. However, the school operators are following the norms of Corona. Due to which full vigilance is being taken in schools as well, but still the transition of students to corona has become a matter of concern for the school administrators and parents.

The CMO of Ghaziabad said that children above the age of 12 years are being vaccinated. Adolescents aged 15 to 18 years in the district have been given 100 per cent of the first dose of the vaccine, while 61.55 per cent have been given both doses. At the same time, 40.54 percent of children aged 12 to 14 years have been given the first dose. To vaccinate children of this age, special camps will now be organized in schools so that all children can be vaccinated. At the same time, this age group will start getting the second dose of the vaccine from May 13.

Corona standards will be followed
The schools have been instructed by the government to follow the corona standards. Schools have also instructed children not to share food and water bottles with any partner. Children have also been asked to observe a distance of two yards. Also, if a child’s health deteriorates, he will have to inform the school about it.
