OnePlus Nord 2 5G: Why does the company not discontinue the Nord series? phone is on fire
When the OnePlus Nord series of OnePlus was launched, people thought that the OnePlus phone would now be available at a lower price. Like the main series of OnePlus, people’s expectations were related to the OnePlus Nord series but this series has disappointed the people of India. There have been reports of fire in the OnePlus Nord series, although the company is not discontinuing the series. Two OnePlus Nord series phones exploded last year, followed by the OnePlus Nord CE on fire in January and now the OnePlus Nord 2 5G on fire. Initially the OnePlus Nord series was a very popular series for its price and performance, but now its identity has become a ‘bomb phone’.
Lakshya Verma claimed on Twitter
The latest case is of Lakshya Verma, a resident of New Delhi, the capital of the country. Target’s OnePlus Nord 2 5G has been reported to have caught fire. He bought the phone five months ago. As per the claims, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G caught fire while Lakshya Verma’s brother was talking on the phone.
After the phone caught fire, Target went to the OnePlus service center, where the employees refused to repair the phone. In the pictures shared by the users, it can be seen that the frame of the phone has been torn after the fire. The company has not yet commented on the matter. By the time the news was written, Lakshya had deleted his tweet.
OnePlus Nord CE caught fire in January
In January this year, a user named Dushyant Goswami complained of a fire in his OnePlus Nord CE phone. Goswami also shared pictures of the phone on Twitter. Dushyant reportedly bought OnePlus Nord CE six months ago. On January 4, he tried to take the phone out of his pocket, during which there was a loud bang, however after complaining, OnePlus gave Dushyant a new phone. Before January, in November 2021, there was an explosion in two different phones of OnePlus Nord series.
