The beautiful government of Haryana is now following the path of Punjab. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday announced the distribution of ration card facility and social security pension at the homes of the residents. The Chief Minister made two announcements during public meetings and other talks in Panchkula and Kurukshetra districts. Ration cards are linked to Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) and this will make it easier to prepare and send ration cards.
The announcements come a few days after the AAP-led government in Punjab announced delivery of ration cards to the homes of beneficiaries under the Atta Dal scheme. This is the third major announcement in which Haryana has followed neighboring Punjab.
Earlier Punjab had issued a helpline number to fight corruption in the offices. Haryana had within a few days formed a high level panel of Additional Chief Secretaries, DGP level officers to tackle corruption at all levels.
Punjab took yet another step to reduce the security of many people by destroying the VVIP culture. Haryana also followed suit and went a step further by removing the VIP numbers of the car from its fleet, which will now be put up for auction.
