You will be surprised to know that Akshata Murthy, wife of British Finance Minister Rishi Sunak, is richer than the Queen of Britain. Both husband and wife are of Indian origin. Akshata Murthy is the daughter of self-made tech billionaire NR Narayana Murthy, the inventor of the Indian IT company Infosys.
According to the information given by the company to the stock exchanges, 42-year-old Akshata holds shares of about 1 billion or Rs 7,600 crore in Infosys. According to the Sunday Times Rich List-2021, this disability makes the statue richer than Queen Elizabeth II. The personal wealth of Queen Elizabeth II is about $ 460 million i.e. 3400 crores.
Akshata and Rishi Sunak own at least four properties, including a £7 million five-bedroom home in upscale Kensington, London, and a flat in Santa Monica, California.
However, Sunak, one of the popular leaders of Bittrain, is in some trouble at the moment. The popularity of the fad has fallen due to rising consumer prices in the UK. Akshata’s father Narayan Murthy founded the giant tech company Infosys in 1981. Murthy, who started the company by borrowing Rs 10,000 from his wife, is now a 100 billion company. It was the first Indian company to be listed on American Wall Street.
Akshata and Rishi met during their MBA studies at Stanford University in America. Rishi earned a first class degree from Oxford. Both got married in the year 2009. Around 1,000 guests including politicians, businessmen and cricketers attended the reception.
