Make the perfect Dhaniya Panjiri Prasad this Janmashtami
This year the festival of Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated on August 18. According to the Hindu calendar, Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated on the eighth tithi of the Krishna Paksha month of Bhadrapada.
So in such a situation let’s know how to prepare Coriander Seed Prasad for Pooja.
Ingredients for making Dhaniya Panjiri Prasad
Coriander powder- 1 cup
Ghee – 3 tbsp
Butter – 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
– Chinese powder – 1/2 cup
– Grated coconut – 1/2 cup
Dry fruits – 1/2 small bowl (finely chopped)
Chironji seeds – 1 tsp
– Char pips / Watermelon seeds – 3 tbsp (peeled)
How to make Dhaniya Panjiri Prasad
To prepare Dhane Panjiri, first heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan. Now add coriander powder and fry for 4-5 minutes and take it out in a bowl.
Add the remaining ghee to the pan and fry the makhana for 2-3 minutes while stirring continuously. On low heat add dry fruits, chironji seeds, maggots, sugar, coconut powder and coriander powder and mix.
Transfer the prepared paneer to a serving bowl, serve Kanhaji and eat as Prasad.
