Ingredients for masala pav recipe

Pav – 6 pieces
Small onion- 2
Tomatoes – 2
Butter – 2 tbsp
Garlic – 3-4 cloves
Ginger paste – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
Pavbhaji masala – 2 tbsp
Green chillies- 2
Capsicum- 1/2
Kasuri Methi – 1 tsp
Green coriander leaves – 3 tbsp
Lemon – 1
Salt – as per taste

How to make Masala Pav recipe

To prepare masala pav, first finely chop onions, tomatoes, capsicum, green chillies and garlic.

Now take a pan and add 1 tbsp butter in it and heat it on low flame. When the butter melts, fry the kasuri fenugreek with garlic and ginger paste.

After some time when the masala aroma starts coming, add finely chopped onions. When onion becomes soft and golden, add capsicum.

Now fry this mixture for 1-2 minutes. After that mix with red chilli powder, turmeric, pauvhaji masala and salt to taste.

After the spices start smelling, add the chopped tomatoes and saute until the tomatoes are well mashed. Then add lemon juice and coriander to the spices and mix well. This way the bhaji will be ready.

Garnish with butter, pauvhaji masala.

Now take a nonstick pan and heat it with some butter. Then take two pieces of pau and lightly fry both sides in tawa. After that, take pav in your hand and spread the prepared bhaji masala well on it.

Along with this, cover with another paub with finely chopped onion and green coriander on top. Your delicious masala pav is ready. Similarly make masala pav from the remaining pav and serve.
