Okra – 250 grams
Onion- 1
Green chillies- 1-2
Garlic cloves – 2-3
Cumin – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida- 1 pinch
Amchur- 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Salt – as per taste
How to make frying okra recipe – bhindi fry recipe
To make okra fries, first wash the okra in water and then leave it in a sieve for a while. Once the water comes out of the ladyfingers, wipe them off thoroughly with a cotton cloth. Once all the ladyfingers are clean, cut them into pieces and keep them in a bowl. After that, finely chop onion, green chillies and garlic too.
Now heat a pan with oil on medium heat. When the oil is hot, add cumin seeds and a pinch of asafoetida. When the cumin starts to crackle, fry it with finely chopped onions, green chillies and garlic. Fry the onion until it turns light golden. This may take 3-4 minutes.
