A case of beating of a loving couple has come to light in Dumka district of Jharkhand. It is learned that the villagers caught the couple in a state of abuse. Then together they hit both of them so badly that the girlfriend’s eye swelled and her clothes were torn badly. The matter is of Shikaripada police station area. The people present on the spot made a video of the incident and made it viral on social media.
Both boyfriend and girlfriend are married. The girlfriend has two children and the boyfriend has three children. The villagers allege that the lover’s husband left the house and after a while the lover quietly entered her house. This has been going on for a long time. But as soon as he got the opportunity, the villagers grabbed his hand and beat him.
Both were playing drums and roaming in the village. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and rescued the couple and sent them to the hospital for treatment. The villagers are now talking about resolving the matter at the panchayat and their level. The police have clarified that after receiving the complaint, strict action will be taken against the accused. The DIG said that he was not aware of the incident.
