How to make pineapple halwa recipe
To make pineapple pudding, first peel the pineapple and cut it into large pieces. Then grind these pieces with the help of a mixer to make a paste. Take this paste in a container and keep it aside. Now heat half a cup of ghee in a pan on medium heat. When ghee melts add rava and fry until light brown.
After 3-4 minutes when the semolina is roasted well and a nice aroma starts emanating from it and the ghee separates, switch off the gas and keep the semolina in a bowl.
Now take another pan, add pineapple paste and sugar and keep hot. Let it cook with a spoon while mixing the sugar well with the pineapple.
After sometime, add 2 cups of water (or as required) and fried rava to the pan and mix everything well. Cook the halwa on low flame for 4-5 minutes.
At this time, semolina will swell. Now reduce the heat again to medium and keep stirring the halwa. After that, add chopped dry fruits and cardamom powder to the pudding, mix well and cook till thick.
When the pudding is cooked and fragrant, add the rest of the ghee and let it rise for a while. Now your delicious pineapple halwa is ready. Garnish with dry fruits and serve.
