According to a report published in Bollywood Hungama, Bhul Bholaiya actor Karthik Aaryan has recently received an offer to advertise Pan Masala brand. Karthik was offered Rs 8 to 9 crores for this advertisement. Despite being offered such a huge amount for an ad, Karthik refused to do the ad. Being a youth icon, Karthik refused to advertise pan masala.

Former Censor Board chairman Prahlad Nihalani hailed the actor’s decision to blunder and said pan masala was harmful to health and Bollywood celebrities were harming the country by promoting such items.
Prahlad said that it is illegal to promote liquor and pan masala.
As per law, CBFC should not certify the broadcast of any such advertisement. People consider Bollywood celebrities as their idols and many people trust them without thinking, in such a situation, Bollywood celebrities should not eat any food that is harmful to their health.
Karthik refuses to promote pan masala
Realizing his responsibility to the youth, Karthik refuses to promote pan masala. Karthik’s first film Akash Vani was a youth oriented love story. After that, Karthik presented hit films one after another. While Bollywood big stars Aamir, Shah Rukh and Akshay Kumar are promoting Pan Masala, people are praising Karthik’s decision.
