Snapchat is a responsible social media site, so it has a block feature that stops spam and annoying contacts from getting to you. It’s a privacy feature in Snapchat, and the company doesn’t tell the person you blocked who you are or tell them who you are. But it does leave behind some traces. Here are the best ways to figure out if you’ve been blocked on Snapchat.
Someone might have blocked you on Snapchat. You won’t be told that you’ve been blocked from the platform. Instead, you can use the tips below to find out if someone has blocked you. When your friend blocks you on Snapchat, it’s a shame. You text at night, but when you wake up the next day, the chat is empty.

Search With Their Full Name or Username
It is one of the best and easiest ways to find out if you are blocked on Snapchat. If you want to see if you’re friends with someone on Snapchat but don’t see a chat, you have to search for their account using their full name or username.
Step 1: Open Snapchat on your phone.
Step 2: Tap the search icon in the upper left corner.
Step 3: Look for the name or username of your friend.
If the account isn’t in the search results, you can do one of two things. The person has either blocked you on Snapchat or deleted their account. This last one is only true in rare cases. Most likely, the person has put up a block on you on the platform. If the person’s profile shows up in search results, it’s possible that they took you off their list of friends.

Step 1: Open Snapchat on your iPhone or Android.
Step 2: Go to the bottom and click on the Chat tab.
Step 3: Use the app’s Search button in the upper right corner to find your old conversations.
Step 4: Send a message to see if you can see the chat history.
Step 5: If you see a message like “Failed to send your message, tap to try again,” it means that you have been blocked.
