The Twitter account of the University Grants Commission was hacked on Sunday. Apart from changing the picture of DG and background of the UGC handle, the hacker also tagged hundreds of users and tweeted hundreds.
Meteorological Department’s Twitter handle hacked
The Twitter handle of the Meteorological Department was hacked by hackers for more than two hours on Saturday. Hackers hacked it and started NFT trading on it. It shows a pinned message that was associated with some NFT trading. Initially her profile picture changed, but then it came to the fore. It took about two hours for the Meteorological Department to recover.
Twitter handle of UP CM office also hacked
Earlier on Friday night, the Twitter handle of UP CM Yogi Adityanath’s office was hacked. It was hacked for about 29 minutes. During this hackers deleted many tweets. Then the account was temporarily suspended. Later it was brought under control. The officials gave this information on Saturday the next day. About 4 million people follow this Twitter handle.
