Here’s Everything You Need to Know to Get Ready for Your Wedding Day With Combination Skin!

The 2023 wedding season will be all about beautiful brides with glowing skin. Every bride-to-be will be lucky to have a natural glow. The only thing you can do to help yourself is to use the right products for your skin type and eat well. You can do things to get your combination skin ready for the wedding. Here’s what experts recommend:

What’s Combination Skin?

“Mixed skin” is another way to talk about a combination dermal layer. A few spots on the face stay dry, but the rest of the face gets oily. Most of the time, a T-zone is made. The oil stays on the forehead, chin, and nose, but the rest of the face stays dry.

So, you have to be careful about what skin care products you buy and where you put them. If you put products that are very moisturizing on oily areas, you will have problems like acne, blackheads, pimples, and pores that are open.

So, here is a simple plan for you.

  • Cleansing

You should wash your face with a light cleansing milk or a mild face wash twice a day. If you have blackheads, don’t rub a scrub all over your face. Instead, use it only in the area where the blackheads are.

  • Scrubbing

You should also not use scrubs in places where you have rashes, dry skin, acne, or pimples. Dr. Gupta says to use orange peel or walnut powder as natural scrubs. These products will nourish the dermis without irritating it.

Husain knows how to make a scrub at home. You need to mix together dry mint leaves (pudina), crushed sesame seeds (til), and honey. It will help get rid of blackheads and whiteheads and fix any sun damage if any. Use a soft, circular motion to rub the scrub on your face. After five minutes, wash your face well.

Dr. Gupta says that you should put benzoyl peroxide on your face before you go to sleep at night. This will help get rid of excess oil on your face, especially in the T-zone area, and will also moisten the other dry areas. It removes dead skin naturally and leaves your skin feeling smooth, soft, and perfect.

  • Toning

For combination skin, the best toners are made from rose. Rose water should be kept in the fridge and applied to the skin with cotton pads that have been soaked in it. It will close up any pores that are open. It will help areas of your face that are both dry and oily.

  • Moisturizing

When you buy a moisturizer for your face, you have to be picky. In the winter, when even the oily part of your face feels dry, you can use the same moisturizer.

The trick is to put moisturizer on the dry part of your face and then a small amount on the oily part. You can even add a drop of water to your moisturizer before putting it on the T-zone. It will cover less and keep pimples and acne from popping up. You can also mix honey with lemon juice and put it all over your face. After 15 minutes, wash it off.

With a teaspoon of pure glycerin and 50 ml of rose water, you can make a moisturizer. Put it in a jar and use a small amount of this lotion to cover your whole face. Honey and pure glycerin both attract and hold water. They pull water from the air and bring it to the skin.

As part of nighttime care, dry areas of the face may need more nourishment than oily areas, especially in the winter. Only massage a nourishing cream into the dry spots for two minutes. Then use wet cotton wool to wipe it off.

  • Masking

A fruit mask would be good for both oily and dry skin, and you could use it more often. You can use it to treat your skin twice a week. Mix together mashed banana, grated apple, and a tablespoon of papaya pulp.

Put it on your face, wait 15 minutes, and then wash it off. You can also add crushed oats, ground almonds, honey, and curd to make the mask more nourishing and thick so that it doesn’t get on your clothes.

Both dry and oily skin types can use this mask. If you are adding an egg, you can cut back on the amount of curd. Use it on your face, but don’t put it on your lips or around your eyes. After half an hour, wash it off.
