Kiara Advani and Siddharth Malhotra starrer ‘Shershah’ was one of the most loved movies of 2021. It was based on the life of Kargil War hero Captain Vikram Batra, who laid down his life in the service of the nation during the Kargil War in 1999 when Indian territory was captured from Pakistani infiltrators. The film premiered on Amazon Prime Video.

Shah Rukh Khan’s sports drama film ‘Chak De India

is one of the most loved films of Indian cinema. Directed by Shimit Amin, the film was based on the journey of the Indian national women’s hockey team, with Shahrukh playing the role of the team’s coach. Released on 10 August 2007, the film won the National Award for Best Popular Film for providing complete entertainment.

Based on the 1999 Kargil War starring Hrithik Roshan, the film was directed by Farhan Akhtar. Along with Hrithik Roshan, Lakshya also stars Preity Zinta, Boman Irani and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. Lakshya released on 18 June 2004 and the film received positive response from the audience. Hrithik Roshan was first seen in the role of a soldier in Lakshya.

Released in 2003, the film starred Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Khanna in lead roles. This historical film is based on the 1999 Kargil War between India and Pakistan. With a run time of 225 minutes, the film is one of the longest Indian films of all time.
