– Rajma 1 cup
1 tablespoon of butter
– 1 tablespoon of oil
– 1 bay leaf
1 inch cinnamon stick
-5 cloves 1 star anise
– 1 onion, chopped
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
– 2 green chillies, chopped
-2 tomatoes, cut into small pieces
1 teaspoon turmeric 1 teaspoon red chili powder
Coriander powder 1 tsp
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
– 1/2 teaspoon amchur powder
– Salt as per taste
How to make Rajma Masala Recipe
To make masala rajma, wash the rajma and soak it overnight or for 4-5 hours. If you don’t have time to soak rajma, put it in a cooker with salt and two cups of water and cook for 4-5 whistles.
After the whistle, switch off the flame and release the pressure of the cooker. Now heat a large pot with oil on low flame.
When the oil is hot, add bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom. After frying for 1-2 minutes add ginger garlic paste in oil and fry for 1-2 minutes. After that mix well with onions, green chillies and tomatoes.
