But the second day collection fell by around 25 percent. A major reason for this is the release of ‘Ek Villain Returns’ on Friday, which dwarfed the show numbers of ‘Vikrant Rona’ and the film collected around Rs 75 lakh on its second day.
As of the second Friday, Shamshera film has done around Rs 50 lakhs on the eighth day.

Villain Returns starring John Abraham, Disha Patani, Tara Sutaria and Arjun Kapoor has managed to collect Rs 6.50 crore on its first day. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film is a sequel to the 2014 superhit film ‘Ek Villain’. So this multistarrer was expected to cross 30 crores on its first day, but it didn’t.
The most awaited movie of Telugu cinema ‘Rama Rao On Duty’ has released in theatres. Ravi Teja, Divyansha Kaushik and Rajisha Vijaya did a business of Rs 5.5 crore on the first day. Trade analysts believe that the film could do well over the weekend.

Naga Chaitanya and Raashi Khanna’s ‘Thank You’ created buzz at the box office. The film has been making less than Rs 1 crore for the past few days and its collection is decreasing day by day.
