Ingredients for Paneer Samosa Recipe

125 grams of finely grated cheese
1/2 medium onion finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
2 pinches of salt
1 cup chickpea flour
1 green chilli finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
25 grams of melted butter
1 cup sunflower oil

How to make Paneer Samosa Recipe

Take a bowl and add all purpose flour, butter and salt. Using your hands, mix these ingredients to a dough consistency. It should be a little tight.

After mixing the dough, cover it with a wet cotton cloth and keep it for a while. Now heat some oil in a pan on medium flame. Add cumin seeds and fry for 30 seconds.

Then fry it with onions, green chillies for a minute or two. Add red chili powder, lemon juice, salt and cheese. Mix the ingredients well and fry for a minute.

When done, remove from heat. Now slowly open the dough and make samosas.

Make small balls of dough and roll into small/medium puris. Cut them in half using a knife. Take half of the puri and shape it into a cone using the edge of your palm.

Add 1 or 2 tbsp to this cheese mixture. Fold the edges with a little water to seal. Repeat the same process with the second samosa.

Meanwhile, heat 1 cup oil in a deep pan. Carefully place the samosas in the pan and deep fry on medium-high heat. Once golden brown, switch off the gas and remove the paneer pakoras to a serving plate.

Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
