The High Court has acquitted Dr BN Das, who was in jail for the murder of his second wife 14 years ago. Dr. Das was sentenced to life imprisonment by the trial court, against which he appealed in the High Court.
He will be released from Gorakhpur Jail as soon as he gets the copy of the High Court order. Dr. who is currently in jail for 14 years. Das continued to help the jail doctor in the treatment of sick prisoners. Doctor. BN Das, a resident of Mamkhor, a resident of Bansgaon, started his practice in Chaurichaura area. It was here that he opened a nursing home named Chandra Hospital in Dumri Khurd. Dr. Das was married but he married Chandrakala Pathak, a resident of Brahmapur for the second time. The first wife Rajkumari Devi lives in the village, he has five children with the doctor, while the second wife Chandrakala also has two children.

He alleged that Dr. Das was giving his sister an injection of slow poison, which led to her death. Chaurichaura Police has arrested Dr. Das by registering a case of murder. In 2009, the trial court convicted the doctor of murder and sentenced him to life imprisonment and a fine of three thousand rupees. The doctor appealed against the sentence in the High Court and after about 14 years, Dr. BN Das was acquitted.
Dr. Das did not leave his profession, he continued to help in the treatment of prisoners in jails as well. Due to Dr. Das, many times the jail administration did not miss even the shortage of doctors. His duty was largely in collaboration with the prison doctor.
