Disenchanted Release Date, Trailer and Everything You Need to Know!

Disenchanted is an upcoming 2022 American musical fantasy romantic comedy film directed by Adam Shankman and written by Brigitte Hales, based on a screenplay by Richard LaGravenese, David N. Weiss, and J. David Stem.

It is the sequel to the movie Enchanted, which came out in 2007. It was made by Walt Disney Pictures, Josephson Entertainment, and Right Coast Productions.

Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, and Idina Menzel all play the same roles they did in the first movie. Rachel Covey is replaced by Gabriella Baldacchino. Maya Rudolph, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jayma Mays, Oscar Nunez, and Griffin Newman are also new to the show.

Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz are back as the movie’s songwriters, and Menken is also back as the score’s composer. Adams is also one of the film’s producers, along with Barry Josephson and Barry Sonnenfeld. Shankman is one of the film’s executive producers, along with Jo Burn and Sunil Perkash.

Disenchanted had its first showing on November 16, 2022, at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles. On November 18, 2022, it came out in the United States through Disney+.

Disenchanted’s first official trailer came out online on September 9, 2022, just a few weeks after it was shown at D23. The trailer seems to promise that this long-awaited sequel will be able to bring back the magic of the first movie, which came out 15 years ago.

After Morgan’s wish for a fairy tale life goes wrong, Giselle starts to act like a “wicked stepmother” toward her, as shown in the trailer. The second trailer for Disenchanted came out on November 1, 2022. It showed Giselle’s transformation into a wicked stepmother in an even better way.

Then a series of clips came out: the first one teases the return to Andalasia, the second one shows more of Amy Adams’s bad side, the third one shows the return of Prince Edward and Nancy, and the most recent one shows the new evil queen, Malvina. Watch the latest video clip below:

Disenchanted was supposed to come out on Disney+ on Thanksgiving Day, which is November 24, 2022. However, the film was moved up a week, and it will now come out on November 18, 2022.

Since the last day of filming last year, there have been pictures of the characters in costume floating around the Internet. Since then, we’ve seen a lot of promotional pictures that have gotten fans excited and will keep them excited until the movie comes out.
