Karan Malhotra’s viral tweet on ‘Shamshera’: Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor’s film ‘Shamshera’ released in theaters on July 22 and failed to live up to expectations. The film could not do any magic at the box office.
The film, made at a cost of around 150 crores with big stars, failed to make 50 crores in 5 days.
The result was that the film flopped at the box office and failed to drive audiences to theaters.
This time the director of the film Karan Malhotra broke the silence by tweeting about this. He wrote in his tweet, ‘My dear Shamshera, you are as charming as you are. It’s important for me to express myself on this platform, because there is love, hate, celebration and humiliation for you.

Karan also wrote, ‘I want to apologize inexplicably for not being able to say anything for the past few days because I couldn’t handle the hate and anger. My retreat was my weakness and there is no excuse for it, but now I am proud and honored to stand here with you knowing that you are mine.

Talking about the story of ‘Shamshera’, Sanjay Dutt’s character in this film was that of a police officer named Suddh Singh. Ranbir Kapoor played a dual role in Shamshera. In the film, he is portrayed as a rebel who robs the rich to help the poor. Meanwhile, Vaani Kapoor plays the dancer Sona. However, fans loved Ranveer-Sanjay’s gimmick and their romance with Vaani.
