Corona scares China again, scary video of house arrest goes viral

People in China’s largest city Shanghai are living in a strict lockdown. The prolonged lockdown has sparked public anger among local authorities. People can be heard standing from their apartments and shouting. Many such videos have come out in which people are seen protesting.

China is following the ‘Zero Kovid Policy’. The Communist Party of China (CPC) government has imposed a strict lockdown of the entire city in view of the spread of Kovid in Shanghai, China’s largest city. Meanwhile, videos of people angered by the strict COVID lockdown have surfaced in which people can be heard shouting in their apartments. Videos are surfacing on social media platforms in which people can be seen fighting with local officials. People are warning that such a harsh lockdown can have dire consequences.

China, under its strict cowardice policy, has completely closed Shanghai from April 5 to prevent the spread of infection. 26 crore people of the city are imprisoned in their homes.

Well-known American health scientist Eric Feigl-ding has posted some videos from Shanghai. Tweeting the video, he wrote that Chinese people are shouting from the apartment in the local dialect Shanghai.

He wrote in his tweet, ‘Shanghai residents are screaming from their high apartment on the seventh day of lockdown. One person shouts that there are going to be a lot of problems. He says that people cannot be held back for long. He says there will be a tragedy.

Dr. Eric further wrote in his tweet that the anger of the people is going to come out soon.

Confirming the authenticity of the video, he wrote, “The video is fully verified. My sources have confirmed it. Shanghai has a local dialect. Out of China’s 1.3 billion population, only 140 million speak Chinese. I am in awe of this.” I know the language because I was born there.

The health expert said that the cases of Kovid are increasing rapidly in Shanghai and the BA.2 version of Omicron is going to increase further in China.

The strict lockdown in Shanghai has led to a severe shortage of food for the intern. Several videos have surfaced showing people trying to preserve vegetables for more days at a lower cost.

On Sunday, 25,000 cases of Kovid infection were reported in Shanghai. Cases are quite low compared to other cities of the world, but according to China, China is facing the most dangerous Kovid infection ever since the outbreak of Kovid in Wuhan in 2019.

There is a complete ban on the exit of ordinary citizens on the streets of Shanghai. Only health workers, volunteers, delivery of goods and people with special permission are allowed on the road.
