Congress demonstration against rising prices of petrol-diesel-LPG; Holding the plate in hand means lifting the cylinder

In Chennai, Congress workers are protesting against the hike in the prices of petrol, diesel and LPG cylinders. Meanwhile, the workers were seen garlanding flowers on the cylinder and extracting the meaning of the cylinder. Along with this, some Congress workers were also seen with plates in their hands. He demanded from the central government that the increased prices of petrol-diesel and cooking gas should be withdrawn soon.

There is no hike in petrol and diesel prices today or on April 11. Monday is the 5th day in a row that there is no change in prices. Earlier on April 1, there was no change in the prices. That is, people have got relief from the rising prices of petrol and diesel. After this, there was an increase of 80 paise per liter on Wednesday. Even today, the prices are applicable on Wednesday across the country.

Let us tell you that the price of petrol and diesel has been increased by Rs 10 per liter in 20 days. The costliest petrol in the country is Rs 123.46 per liter in Parbhani in Maharashtra and Rs 107.61 per liter in Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh. At the same time, the cheapest petrol in Port Blair is Rs 91.45 and diesel is Rs 85.83 per liter.

Earlier on Sunday, senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge had said that people are worried about inflation, not jobs. He said that the RSS is trying to control the organisations. All opposition parties have to be united in this fight. The Congress leader said that in Uttar Pradesh too, the Congress and the BSP should come together and stand against the BJP to end their “dictatorship”.
