Infinix has launched a new budget smartphone in India. The company has introduced its new entry-level smartphone Infinix Smart 6 HD in the Smart 6 series. The new Smart 6 HD is the third smartphone in the series after the vanilla Smart 6 and Smart 6 Plus, which were launched in India earlier this year.

Smart 6 HD is the most affordable offering in this range. It comes with a single storage variant and is a great option for those who want to switch from a feature phone to the new Android smartphone experience.

Infinix Smart 6 HD comes with a single storage option in India. The phone has 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It is priced at Rs 6,799 and comes in three color options – Aqua Sky, Force Black and Origin Blue. The sale of Infinix Smart 6 HD will start from August 12 on Flipkart.

Infinix Smart 6 HD Specifications

The smartphone comes with a 6.6-inch TFT LCD. The screen for the front camera has a 60Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch at the top. The display has an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a peak brightness of 500 nits. The smartphone is powered by the quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC processor.

The chipset is paired with PowerVR GE8320 GPU and 2GB of RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 512GB via microSD card slot. With just 2GB of RAM, the Smart 6 HD runs Android 11 Go version out of the box. It has XOS 7.6 on top of Android.

There is a square-shaped camera module on the back of the smartphone. The phone comes with a single camera sensor and an LED flash inside the module. There are two more dummy cutouts inside the camera module to resemble a triple-camera setup.

The Smart 6 HD has an 8MP rear camera sensor. For selfies, there is a 5MP front camera in a water-drop notch. The Smart 6 HD also packs a 5000mAh battery with 5W charging via a micro-USD port. It comes with 3.5mm headphone jack, single speaker and dual-SIM support.
