Who is Annie Wersching?

Annie Wersching was born in 1977 in Missouri’s St. Louis. 1995 saw her complete her high school education at Crossroads College Preparatory School. She continued her education at Millikin University earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theatre in 1999. Throughout high school and college, she also engaged in Irish dancing.

She began her acting career with Actor Trek: Enterprise in 2002, appearing as a guest star in the episode Oasis. After that, she kept appearing in guest parts on other shows, such as Birds of Prey, Frasier, Charmed, Killer Instinct, Boston Legal, Journeyman, and Supernatural. She obtained a recurring part in General Hospital, an ABC soap drama, in 2007.

Wersching portrayed Amelia Joffe, the Everyday Heroes producer who aided Jason Morgan in rescuing a kidnapped youngster. She made her debut as FBI agent Renee Walker on Fox’s popular action thriller 24 in 2009. She was a two-season recurring character who received a lot of praise for her portrayal as the tough, independent agent.

After 24, Wersching proceeded to make guest appearances in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, No Ordinary Family, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, and Castle. She acted as Tess’ voice and motion capture actor for the PlayStation 3 game The Last of Us in 2012.

The criminal drama Bosch on Amazon Prime premiered in 2014, and the actress was given the part of Julia Brasher. She also had recurring parts in The Vampire Diaries, Timeless, Runaways, Blue Bloods, Major Crimes, Code Black, Out of Practice, and The Rookie.
