Vivo has launched its new smartphone Vivo Y16 4G. The company has currently launched this new Y-series phone in Hong Kong. The design of the Y16 is similar to the Vivo Y35 that was announced recently. It features a flat frame design with curved corners and a rectangular camera module at the back. There are two big cutouts in the phone, in which there is a dual camera setup. The phone comes in two color options. Vivo can launch Y16 in India and other markets in the coming days. The phone has 4GB RAM and 128GB storage

Vivo has launched its new budget smartphone Y16 4G. The Y16 comes in a single variant, with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The company did not reveal the price of the phone till the time of writing this news. However, the specifications and features of the phone have been revealed. The Y16 comes in two colors – Stellar Black and Drizzling Gold. Its dimensions are 163.95×75.55×8.19mm. The phone has a polycarbonate frame and back. Its weight is about 183 grams.

Vivo has launched the phone with MediaTek Helio P35 processor, 4 GB RAM and up to 128 GB internal storage. It also supports Extended RAM 2.0 and offers 1GB of additional virtual RAM. The Y16 comes with a dedicated slot for storage using a microSD card. The phone packs a 5000 mAh battery inside. It supports 10W charging via USB Type-C port.

The Y16 4G runs on Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 out-of-the-box. It sports a 6.51-inch HD+ display with a water-drop notch on the top for a 5MP front camera. The chin bezel around the display is quite thick. There is a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 13MP main camera. The phone also has a 2MP secondary sensor. It supports dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.
