Bollywood actor Shiv Kumar Subramaniam has passed away. Film director Hansal Mehta announced the death of Shiv Kumar, who played pivotal roles in films like Meenakshi Sundareswarar, Nail Polish, Hitchhiker, Rocky Handsome, 2 States and Kaminey, by tweeting from his official account. Hansal Mehta tweeted and condoled the death of Shiv Subramaniam. Shiv Kumar’s last rites will be performed on Monday morning in Andheri West, Mumbai.
Hansal Mehta wrote on his social media account, “With great sadness I want to inform you that one of the most revered and great souls living in human form – our beloved Shiva Subramaniam has left us.” Hansal Mehta wrote, “He was extremely talented, loved and respected both personally and professionally.”
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife Diya, his mother, father, Rohan, Rinki and family, Bhanu Chitti and all family members of Shiva and his friends and innumerable followers. Hansal Mehta has also shared the time and place of Shiva’s funeral in his post.
Many Bollywood stars have also tweeted their condolences to his family, friends and followers on Shiva’s death. Ranvir Shorey wrote, ‘Very sad news. This pain doesn’t end. He was a great human being, a wonderful talent. You left too soon. Let us tell you that Shiva was a great actor as well as a screenwriter and he wrote scripts for films like ‘Parinda’ and ‘Hazaro Khwash Aisi’.
Shiva was last seen working in Sanya Malhotra’s Meenakshi Sundareshwar. Apart from this, he also played an important role in Arjun Rampal’s film Nail Polish. Both the films were released on OTT and got immense love from the people.
