In February, Rs 2.4 crore in cash and jewelery was stolen from the Delhi residence of actresses Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja. A police statement said the robbery took place on February 11 and a complaint was lodged with the police on February 23, almost two weeks after the crime. According to the information received, investigation has been started by registering an FIR in this matter immediately. It is said that around 35 servants work in Sonam Kapoor’s grandmother’s house and now the police can investigate all of them. The police gave this information in a press release today.
The incident took place in February at the Delhi residence of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja. Sonam Kapoor’s 86-year-old grandmother Sarla Ahuja, her father-in-law Harish Ahuja and Priya Ahuja live in Delhi. Sarla Ahuja’s manager Ritesh Gaura had lodged a complaint with the Tughlaq Road police station in Delhi on February 23. According to the complaint Rs. 2.4 crore jewelery and Rs. One lakh cash was stolen.
