Aaron Charles Carter was born in Tampa, Florida on December 7, 1987, to Jane Elizabeth (Spaulding) and Robert Gene Carter. He was Nick Carter’s (Backstreet Boys) younger brother, and he had three sisters.

He began his musical career when he was seven years old, singing lead for the band “Dead End” for two years. In March 1997, he had his debut solo appearance at the age of nine, opening for the Backstreet Boys in Berlin. Martin, 30, and Carter’s mother, Jane Carter, stated that they are still awaiting toxicology testing to validate their overdose scenario.

Martin informed the site that she discovered text exchanges between Aaron and an “unidentified person telling Aaron he owed $800 for an unknown substance” to add to their concerns.

The official cause of death for the “I Want Candy” singer has yet to be confirmed, however, his body was discovered beside many cans of compressed air and prescription medicine bottles.
