Vodafone-Idea has denied allegations of leaking data of 20 million users. Cyber security research firm Cyber X9 has claimed in its report that data of 20 million postpaid users of Vodafone-Idea has been leaked and is being used by cyber criminals.
Vodafone-Idea has completely denied this report of Cyber X9, calling it completely false. In its defence, Vodafone-Idea says that the company audits and checks the security infrastructure at regular intervals.

Cyber Security Form Cyber X9 said that in the last two years, phone call records of 20 million postpaid customers of Vodafone-Idea have been leaked. The data leak also revealed details of call time, call duration, where the call was made, who called, who was called and SMS address.
Cyber X9 founder and managing director Himanshu Pathak told PTI on Sunday that Cyber X9 has shared all the information with Vodafone-Idea through email. Vodafone-Idea agreed to our report on 22 August, Himanshu Pathak said. Also, on August 24, the telecom company blamed its weak security system.

Vodafone-Idea has said that our company has received a forensic investigation of the security vulnerability following the claim. The telecom company claims that it has not found any evidence of any kind of data leak.
Along with this, the telecom company also said that the data of our customers is completely safe. In its defence, Vodafone-Idea says that the company audits and checks the security infrastructure at regular intervals.
